Part drawings with dimensional requirements and vector images are preferred for cutting and engraving, but if you’re working with a bitmap or just an idea, we can start there.
File types of dwg, dxf, pdf, cdr, ai, and eps are typical for use in laser-cutting and engraving.
LASER Equipment:
• 2 Model V-460, 50-watt, CO2 Universal Laser Engraving and Cutting Systems, exhaust tables, air-assist, rotary device, and dual heads
LASER Capabilities:
• Work Area: 18” x 24”
• Material Thickness: Paper thin and up to 0.500” for some materials
• Cut tolerance: As tight as +/-0.005”
• Materials: Cut non-metals like Acrylic, Wood, Fishpaper, Nomex, and Mylar, and Engrave/Etch/Mark Metal, Plastic, Wood, Glass, and Stone
• Special Attributes: Laminate materials, add adhesive, perforations/scores for folding, engrave logos, serial numbers, barcodes, date codes, and lot numbers
